Forskolin is considered safe for adults when it is inhaled, injected or administered as IV and when used as eye drops. In some cases, Forskolin can cause certain side effects. It can cause stinging in the eyes when it is applied as eye drops. It can also cause low blood pressure and flushing in some people. Throat irritation, cough, restlessness and tremor are some of the other side effects seen rarely when Forskolin is inhaled. It is also known to increase the risk of bleeding in some cases.
