Keep yourself fit with body weight workouts
The best way to keep ourselves in good shape and ensure fitness is through regular exercise. But it is sad to know that most of our forms of exercising do not really produce the results we expect. It is possible when we achieve uniform distribution of the resistance we offer during our exercise and this can be best done with body weight workouts.
This concept essentially uses the weight of the body which is put into action as a whole making sure that the anaerobic activity that we aim at occurs uniformly through out the body. The training involves the use of our own body instead of using free weights which localize the stress and strain to particular areas when performed thus making sure that the resistance is distributed throughout. The belief that raising heavy objects enhances functional strength and endurance is a bad misconception. And even experiments have proved that body weight workouts initiate a larger number of muscle fibers when compared to the usual routines.
Thus we need to realize the importance of these effective forms of exercises that deliver good, uniform and passable results.
